That’s why recruiters use ContactOut to contact (and hire) the world’s best candidates.

Thousands of companies — including Microsoft, McKinsey, and Netflix — buy our product each year for their recruitment teams. (We’ll make $5M revenue this year as a profitable, 15-person company.)

But we’re dreaming bigger.

We’ll be a system that empowers B2B professionals to do cold outreach that both they and the recipient enjoy.

What’s missing — You

We’re investing a large chunk of our revenue into building a team of ambitious UI/UX designers who will revolutionize the way millions of people do outreach.

And we want you to be a leader on that team.

You’ll be expected to:

  • Work hand-in-hand with the CEO to set and execute product direction
  • Communicate regularly with users to deeply understand their pains and desires
  • Upgrade our search portal design and usability to make it best-in-SaaS
  • Design the perfect email and SMS outreach platform, reporting system and dashboards
  • Perfect user onboarding to achieve world-class user retention

The opportunity to impact the world through UI/UX design is massive:

  1. Currently 3 out of 4 Fortune 500 companies use ContactOut
  2. We have more than 100,000 total users of our Chrome extension
  3. Our users are fanatical about ContactOut — check out the reviews on G2.
  4. We get thousands of new signups a day, but currently no intentional user experience to activate and retain them

Our goal compensation-wise is to ensure that no candidate is lost due to salary needs. Tell us your target compensation, and let’s see if there’s a fit.

PATHWAY TO A BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY

So far, ContactOut has had a great run. We were founded in Silicon Valley in 2015 with the backing of 500 Startups and Startmate/Blackbird Ventures. Since then, hundreds of thousands of people have made use of our Chrome extension to connect with the candidates who mean most to them.

But we have so much more ambition.

We’re on a clear path to becoming a billion-dollar company. We’re being advised by Zoominfo’s founding team, who have given us the exact playbook on how they grew from 20 employees to $400M revenue and a $18bn NASDAQ IPO. We have insider knowledge on how to source 200% more phone numbers and 300% more emails than Zoominfo and dominate the market. We’re a small team and growing super fast — think Dropbox / Slack first 14 employees.

PRODUCT DIRECTION

Short term:

Emails for 80% of the world (done). Phone numbers for 50% of the world (2 month goal). Improve our search portal.

Medium term:

Create an outreach platform with email and SMS campaigns, a dialer, reports and a lightweight CRM.

Long term vision:

Make outreach more relevant. As users send and respond to messages via our platform. We’re able to analyze those responses and publish intent data on what people are interested in. E.g Joe Smith has responded to 2 recruiters in the past month. CompanyA is interested in SEO services but not interested in security services. This will help outreach be more targeted towards those people that are actually interested.
